The Fundamentals application was a unique challenge to develop. With a myriad of features in use, we had to make sure every asset was optimized to look great and keep the frame-rate low. Additionally there were a lot of challenges in ensuring that the spatial content was accessible and that interactions with it were intuitive.
Interacting in augmented reality is a very challenging thing to teach. After a lot of iteration, we arrived at a flow teaches the user how to use their headset in a way that is as educational as it is fun! I’m very humbled to have had the opportunity to work alongside the incredible talent at Magic Leap make this application possible.
