Jabil asked Razorfish to design a new welcome experience for their Blue Sky Center welcome area. We developed a series of interactive video pods that respond to users using motion tracking cameras. As a guest approaches, the pod automatically detects their presence and plays an informational video. As the video progresses, products on the pedestals are highlighted and the pedestal illuminates. When a guest picks up a product, an RFID chip in the pedestal prompts the app to open up an informational dialogue, showing the guest more detail about each product. Responsive lighting design changes based on user actions.
This interaction paradigm has also been carried over to the Jabil Greenpoint wall, where a similar user experience is carried out in a hallway format.
