Wind Generator

A while back I make a home made wind generator from a desk chair, a ceiling fan, a treadmill motor and some bits from the hardware store. A treadmill motor makes a great generator, due to the fact that it uses permanent magnets to create enough force to push a person. When you reverse this,

Fundamental Blocks

These images of CERN were recolored using a Processing algorythm. Random colors are generated and then matched to the colors in the photo, the result is a per-pixel recoloring that retains visual clarity while distorting the palette. Download the source code here: github.com/kittrick/Pixelator

Mitosis Draw

Evolving Illustrations It’s an app that lets you draw with simulated cells! Made in processing and inspired by Daniel Shiffman. Each cell splits in simulated mitosis when it reaches a certain size, cells also inherit color information from their parents and mutate with each generation to create a continually evolving illustration.
